First and foremost I would like to apologize to frito for my poor choice of words. I had no intention of degrading his post, I honestly just wanted to let him know that from my sources Texas was the team being slammed by the public. I wasn't aware of how sensative it can be around here and I will take blame for that. (hopefully that statement won't be taken the wrong way either-no sarcasm) however, I was speaking to frito and if frito had a problem with my wording I am sure he would have mentioned it. None the less I apologize. I did wish him luck at the end of my post but I guess that went unnoticed. The last thing I want Is to ruffle feathers around here.

I sure don't want to argue about this all day, but that statement makes zero sense.

They're NOT going to attract more Ohio St bettors by taking points away from Ohio St.
(the line opened at (tex -10.5) it dropped to (-8) taking points away from Ohio St)
Ohio St bettors would want MORE points - not LESS points

just a comment - not an argument -

For about the first 25 days of the line being out, the line kept dropping -
(they needed more Texas money) a lot of money was coming in on Ohio St (i guess)

The line movement didn't start to help Ohio St bettors until gameday basically.

As for Frito...I too at times just fade public and the way I look at it, is by asking my friend who also books, usually its a good way to win money...he tells me what the majority of his players are on or what a guy that is on a horribly bad streak is playing and I just simply go the other way simple as that...It has worked for me in the past, but like GG said it got on a horrible run this year, where joe public was hitting every obvious game, just the way it goes I guess...I have a cousin who knows nothing about nothing yet he went 9 for 10 one weekend in NFL when I lost 5 out of 5 go figure...

for what its worth he was super SUPER heavy on TX and OVER last night...I faded took OSU and under for a nice lil night...he is pretty much split today with a bit more on Tulsa not enough to fade so now comes the hard part...me doing homework and deciding on my own...
