250 New Orleans -3
I don't wanna hype but please read on and you will see why this is my biggest play of the year.
I don't post plays at all but I watch the site daily and I put my most hours in on the NFL. I try to learn a thing or two from the boss boy's on here and think I have a decent idea in the Pros.
IMO, this is as big a game as the saints have had all year - they are 6-6, with games left this week home vs atlanta, @ chicago, @detroit, vs carolina. They are still alive in the playoff hunt and the best way to start is to make up a game on a team 2 games ahead of them.
They are at home where NFC south teams are 8-0 this year within the division winning by an average of 17 points!!
Atlanta is 0-2 this year ATS, and 0-6 the last 3 years (I know it is a completely different Atlanta team and have accounted for that) after two consecutive wins and I can guarantee you they were riding extra high this week after that win in San Diego, it is a tough spot for these guys in the division against Sean Payton and Drew Brees who are 5-1 at home this year.
The suspensions help us here I think because it backs some money off New Orleans and probably sucks in a lot of 7 point teasers (not saying it wont cover but I think there is a good chance). Pierre Thomas is an upgrade from Deuce in the backfield IMO. They have been without Charles Grant for a while and the loss of Will Smith will hurt a little bit definitely.
However, for a team that outscores opponents 33.5-19.8 points at home and outgains opponents 427-300 I like my chances.
I have said way too much as it is and I have more on the game that makes me love it but I'll stop here and ask this question, is it a trap? I respect a lot of peoples opinions and understand there are differnet capping styles but the money on this game is not one sided so I'm not seeing it if there is. One of the sites I checked had a heavy side and ML advantage to Atlanta. Another one was dead even.
I am sticking to my guns on this one and will make my biggest play of the season barring any changes that I will post - I have gotten burned on these big plays before and I'm sure some of you remember that, Atlanta has also hurt me this year but I think I have this team figured out now.
Too damn lengthy but what do you guys think?
