Toronto Raptors at Los Angeles Lakers [9:30 PM ET]

Raptors: Toronto forward Chris Bosh hopes to have fellow big man Jermaine O'Neal back in the lineup to help him out against LA's tough frontcourt. Bosh is averaging 33.8 points in his last four games but has averaged just 14.8 points in four career road games at LA. He is wearing a knee brace but only to guard against future injuries. “I’m just happy I’m back to 100 percent,” Bosh said. “That’s the reason for the brace, to make sure I stay that way.”

Raptors are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games.
The OVER is 6-2 in Toronto's last 8 Sunday games.

        Key Injuries - F/C Jermaine O'Neal (knee) is day-to-day.

        PROJECTED SCORE: 97

Lakers (-12.5, O/U 206): LA is looking for its seventh straight home win against the Raptors after star Kobe Bryant scored a season-high 35 points in a 114-107 win over Dallas on Friday. “We’re a pretty smart team,” Bryant said. “So if something is not going our way in the first half, we all come in here and not just talk about playing harder, but we also talk about the execution of it. That’s the way Phil (Jackson) has raised us to play and think.” Bryant has scored at least 31 in the last four home meetings with Toronto, and the Lakers have averaged 110.2 points in the last six wins against the Raptors at Staples Center.

Lakers are 1-7 ATS in their las 8 games vs. Atlantic Division.
The OVER is 7-1 in LA's last 8 home games.

        Key Injuries - NONE

        PROJECTED SCORE: 109

Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a college sports Saturday

Sunday's List of 13: Wrapping up a college sports Saturday

              13) We have few sure things in life: Death, taxes, the swallows going back to Capistrano, and Pete Carroll kicking Notre Dame's butt each and every fall. Total yardage in first half Saturday: 266-9. Yikes.

              12) Someone has to explain to me why Lane Kiffin is worth $2M a year to Tennessee's football team, or how he is a better coach than Volunteer alum Philip Fulmer. He is younger, for sure, and he has a famous dad, but Fulmer did win a national title, no?

              11) Oklahoma scored 61 points in Stillwater Saturday, scoring last 17 points, after game had gotten dicey at 44-41. Only two games are in the way of a Sooners-Gators national title game. Alabama is playing really well, so that could be a prolem. Missouri doesn't figure to be much of an obstacle to Oklahoma's progress.

              10) Kid on Oregon had over 200 rushing yards......at halftime. On the day where Oregon State had a chance to get to the Rose Bowl for the first time in 43 years, they gave up 65 freakin' points. Not good.

              9) Eastern Michigan was 58-80/516 passing in their win Friday; I've never seen any football team throw 80 passes in one game.

              8) Kid named Casey on Rice caught three TD passes, ran for one and threw a TD in Owls' 56-42 win, capping a terrific 9-3 season. He is also Rice's punt returner. Not bad for a 24-year old sophomore who pitched in the minor leagues for the White Sox for three years.

              7) Of the 26 lined games on Saturday's college football schedule, eight teams scored 30+ points, but lost.

              6) Clemson won four of last five games under interim coach Sweeney, who has a decent case to become the full-time coach. Will the Tigers go for a big name, or give it to a guy who has shown he can get these kids to play both hard and well?

              5) Georgia Tech played Miami, Georgia the last two weeks, and ran ball for 472-409 yards, an amazing feat. Teams pass the ball so much now, maybe hard-nosed running teams now have an advantage.

              4) How does Mississippi State compete in an SEC that has so many financial resources that Steve Spurrier is the 9th-highest paid coach? If Tennessee hires an unproven kid, who do the Bulldogs hire?

              3) Who had a worse week, Stephon Marbury or Plaxico Burress?

              2) Late college hoop results: San Diego State won Alaskan Shootout, Vandy will play VCU in Cancun finals, Kentucky upset W. Virginia out in Vegas, Dayton upset Marquette, Illinois nipped Tulsa in the South Padre Island finals, Florida State beat Cal, also in Vegas.

              1) When I started this website eight years ago, this was first weekend of the college basketball season, and slow week in the college football world; now its the third week of college hoop, and college football is still going with its regular season. Lot of overlap now, lot of stuff to take in and enjoy. Hope you're having an excellent weekend.
