The sponsors of these bowls is whats keeping us from getting a playoff. Having all these bowl games gives smaller schools a chance to bring in some extra dough. Really, who gives a shit about the Motor City Bowl between Central Michigan and Memphis. Wasn't it just 15 years ago there were about 8 bowls?

They can still have all the shit bowls even with a playoff. Heck, they have all those nonsense bowls after Jan 1 like the International bowl...why would that have to change?
