No way. This is going to be one the worst years for the BCS. Going to be a lot of pissed off teams and fans. If the NFL used a BCS system the Giants wouldn't have been super bowl champs last year. Just shows you how flawed the system is and how much money is involved for them not to switch to a playoff.Last edited by weazel079; 11-23-2008, 08:10 PM.MLB (2014): (3-4) -.9 units

USC pretty much has no chance to get in the championship game. Sucks. They have one slip up and their toast. Seems like it has happened several times in the last decade where SC just misses getting in the championship team and they thump someone in the Rose Bowl and we hear "what if".MLB (2014): (3-4) -.9 units

These teams are undefeated...They should have a shot at the top prize. IMO a 8 team playoff should be established. All undefeated teams get in and take the highest seeds by BCS ranking. Then fill the rest of the spots with the top BCS teams by seed. That should make pretty much everybody (particularly the fans) happy.
PKNo thrills, frills, spills or write-ups. Just givin ya the winners everyday.

I think we all agree that we need a playoff...but the bitching and moaning will never go away. If it is an 8 team playoff, we will all cry about who are #'s 7 and 8. If it is 12 teams, we will do the same thing with #11 & 12- especially if we let computers pick them. They need to do what NCAAB does and lock 8 guys in a room to figure it out...won't elim the crying but would be best, imo. And it will be infinately better than what we have.Three Jack's Record http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...10#post1323910
