          Tips and Trends
          ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Denver Nuggets at Cleveland Cavaliers [TNT | 8 PM ET]

Nuggets: In case you missed it, Denver is playing small ball right now due to numerous injuries that has depleted the team's frontcourt. Kenyon Martin has missed the last two games with a sprained wrist but hopes to return while 7-footer Steven Hunter is likely out for the season with a knee injury and Chris Andersen is sidelined for at least a couple weeks with a broken rib. That means 6-11 center Nene is the only healthy player taller than 6-8 who will be playing for the Nuggets.

Nuggets are 5-0 SU in the last 5 meetings.
The UNDER is 12-4 in Denver's last 16 games overall.

Key Injuries - F Kenyon Martin (wrist) is day-to-day.
C Chris Andersen (ribs) is OUT.

          PROJECTED SCORE: 97

Cavs (-5.5, O/U 199.5): Cleveland star LeBron James has scored 41 points in three of the team's last four games and enjoyed his best shooting game of the season in a 99-93 win over Milwaukee on Tuesday. James made 16-of-24 shots (67 percent) and has finally started sinking some 3-pointers. After missing 13 straight in his first five games, he has hit 6-of-17 in the last three. One thing James has struggled with is matchups with buddy Carmelo Anthony, who has been on the winning end in the last five meetings. Anthony's Nuggets are 6-2 all-time in eight career meetings with the James' Cavs.

Cavs are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games overall.
The UNDER is 7-1 in Cleveland's last 8 games vs. Northwest Division.

          Key Injuries - NONE

          PROJECTED SCORE: 103

Detroit Pistons at Golden State Warriors [TNT | 10:30 PM ET]

Pistons (-4.5, O/U 200.5): The player who has benefit the most from Allen Iverson's arrival has been Tayshaun Prince, who is averaging 22.7 points in the three games they have played together. Prince has been able to cash in on Iverson's ability to kick out passes after he drives to the hoop which has been huge considering Rip Hamilton is mired in a 4-for-24 shooting slump. “I get into the paint a lot and draw a lot of attention,” Iverson said. “All I want these guys to do is get in spots where they can have easy shots - easy layups and dunks. That’s what they did (Tuesday). Guys played off my penetration and took advantage of it.”

Pistons are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games.
The OVER is 5-2 in Detroit's last 7 games overall.

Key Injuries - G Rodney Stuckey (dizziness) is OUT.

          PROJECTED SCORE: 102

Warriors: Golden State has yet to sell out any of its home games this season, preventing the team from playing with the same kind of emotion there as in years past. Part of that might have to do with the departure of Baron Davis to the Clippers while budding star Monta Ellis is out for an extended period of time following an offseason scooter accident. One player who has been absolutely invaluable is Stephen Jackson, who has done everything head coach Don Nelson has asked of him so far this season. “I don’t know how much longer I can play him 48 minutes, but I’m going to have to until he cries,” Nelson said.

Warriors are 8-20 ATS in their last 28 home games.
The OVER is 8-3 in Golden State's last 11 games overall. F Corey Maggette (hamstring) is day-to-day.

Key Injuries - F Corey Maggette (hamstring) is day-to-day.
F Al Harrington (back) is OUT.

          PROJECTED SCORE: 98
