Lakers (NA): LA is 5-0 for the third time under head coach Phil Jackson, but it's how easily the team is winning games this year that has caught the attention of league insiders. The Lakers are winning by an average of 22.4 points per game with the next closest team winning by less than half that margin. Moving Lamar Odom to the bench has given them one of the biggest frontcourts in the NBA with Pau Gasol shifting to power forward. Gasol has averaged 14 rebounds in the last three games, and he will likely take the assignment of guarding Dirk Nowitzki.

Rip Hamilton missed all eight shots he took from the field in an 88-76 loss to Boston on Sunday while Iverson totaled 10 points and four assists. The Pistons do not have much depth in the backcourt right now since Rodney Stuckey did not travel with them to Sacramento, and they are also lacking a proven scorer inside after dealing Antonio McDyess to Denver to get Iverson. McDyess was waived by the Nuggets on Monday and is expected to re-join Detroit, but he needs to wait 30 days.

Pistons are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games vs. Pacific Division.
