Cleveland Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls [8:30 PM ET]

Cavs (-1, O/U 189): Cleveland star LeBron James has been a force against Michael Jordan's former team, doing exactly what MJ used to do to the Cavs. James is averaging 37.2 points in the last six meetings with the Bulls, and he has averaged 31 points in 10 career games at the United Center. “LeBron is LeBron,” Chicago head coach Vinny Del Negro said. “We tried all kinds of different things with him. When he gets around the basket, he’s so powerful.” James had a season-high 41 points in a 107-93 win over the Bulls on Wednesday, including 14 in the third quarter.

Cavs are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
The UNDER is 7-3 in Cleveland's last 10 Saturday games.

Key Injuries - F Darnell Jackson (wrist) is OUT.

            PROJECTED SCORE: 95

Bulls: Chicago is shooting much better at home this season, connecting nearly 47 percent at the United Center compared to 38 percent on the road. Rookie point guard Derrick Rose continues to impress, as he totaled 18 points and six assists in a 100-83 rout of Phoenix on Friday as the Bulls improved to 3-0 at home. Rose had 20 points and seven assists in Wednesday's loss at Cleveland, and he knows his team needs to defend James better. “He’s an amazing player,” Rose said. “I’ve watched him on television so many times. We could have done a better job guarding him.”’

Bulls are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall.
The UNDER is 7-1 in Chicago's last 8 home games.

                Write-Up

                Saturday, November 8

Edmonton (10-8) @ Winnipeg (8-10)-- Teams met in Weeks 14-15, with home team winning both; Bombers won 30-23 (-3), outrushing Eskimos 156-35, offsetting 36-43/410 passing day by guests. Edmonton returned the favor the next week, winning 36-22 (-6.5), with 29-39/310 passing stats. Winnipeg won six of last eight games, while Eskimos were just 4-5 in their last last nine games. Eskimos are 3-6 on foreign soil this season, but they did play in tougher division and still won more games than did Winnipeg.

BCLions (11-7) @ Saskatchewan (12-6)--Lions won two of three vs the Roughriders this season, losing 26-16 (-6) at home in Week 2, then when teams met in both Weeks 12-13, Lions won both, 28-23 (-6) at home, then 27-21 (+3.5) in Regina. Lions lost two of last three games to fall to this position, but their loss at Calgary last week was first in last six on the road. Riders started season 6-0, ended it 3-0, went 3-6 in between.

                  Saturday's six-pack

-- Allen Iverson scored 24 points in his Detroit debut; the guy he was guarding for most of the game, Devin Harris, scored 38.

-- Jerry Sloan won his 1,000th game as coach of the Jazz Friday-- this guy is the most underrated coach in team sports, but part of the reason why is that he's never won the NBA championship.

-- NFL wisely rescinded Justin Tuck's $7,500 fine from last week's Dallas game; it is tackle football after all, an often violent game.

-- How happy are the Raiders to get rid of DeAngelo Hall and his ridiculously huge contract?

-- Live golf from the Far East this weekend at 1am on Golf Channel with most of the big boys playing; Adam Scott just missed a birdie putt as I typed this.

-- In case you wonder about such things, if you won $1,000,000 on the PGA Tour this season, you'd rank 103rd on the money list.
