I already got most of my money back for the series on Tampa in game four with Philadelphia and OVER once I saw the writing on the wall. I did hedge the remainder on Philly in tonight's game.
If Philadelphia wins tomorrow, well congratulations, they are the champs for this year; there are a number of folks from Philly on another forum with whom I am friends and for whom I will be happy.

If Philly wins, don't congratulate me.

Interesting how you were so adamant all year that the AL was so freakin' dominant and the NL had ZERO chance...how many times did we hear the stats on ALL Star games, IL Play, each teams individual record in Interleague...yet you bailed after 3 games!!!

I never said ZERO chance of winning-the only one who has ZERO chance of winning is McCain.
Third of all, unless they reverse it, they are calling my bet on Philly a WINNER tonight.
It could be that the baseball rules aren't the same as the gambling rules, meaning that the score reverts back to the score at the end of the fifth inning, meaing Philly is a winner;this means that bets on the game count, but run line bets and totals bets do not(I bet the run line and totals on the game, and it shows as no bet).
If this holds, then I actually win a little on the entire series.
Now I can relax and don't have to worry about tomorrow.
ps I lost a regular season game a couple of seasons ago under similar circumstances-what goes around comes around.

If Philadelphia wins(remember it isn't over yet), I will admit that Phillies are the rightful champions, and even if they don't, they are a very good team.
I still maintain the AL is a better and stronger league overall though;many agree with me and many do not;it is subjective and based on one's own criterion.
