If Philadelphia wins(remember it isn't over yet), I will admit that Phillies are the rightful champions, and even if they don't, they are a very good team.
I still maintain the AL is a better and stronger league overall though;many agree with me and many do not;it is subjective and based on one's own criterion.

I believe one of your posts, if I remember correctly and I may be paraphrasing, was 'any knowledgeable fan would know, by using any criteria, that the AL is a superior league'.

Just wondering, is 'World Series Champion' a defininf criteria?

Let me ask you something:
Think back to the 2006 season when a 500 St. Louis team during the regular season won the WS over Detroit.
Now lets say and somehow magically you became incredibly,filthy rch and had a chance to buy any major league team you wanted to for the following season and seasons to come
Do you think you would have been more inclined to buy the Cardinals based on their winning the WS or would you have been more inclined to buy the Red Sox, Yankees, Angels, Mets and perhaps a few other teams?
