    Agreed.
Frank-do you agree with my contention that if the Sox had won last night and advanced, that the WS line would be somewhat if not a lot higher than the -130 or -140 we see with the Rays?

I do agree. My guess. -170 or -180

I find it interesting that you use Interleague records to decide who will win the World Series but you do not use regular season records to decide who is the best team in baseball....

          Here:
          1) Tampa Bay won the division in the best division in baseball bar none.
          2) They defeated the defending chapion Red Sox in the season series 10 games to 8 including 4 of 6 in the last week of the season including two great comebacks at Fenway.
          3) They defeated the Red Sox in the divisional series in 7 games, and by all rights should have won in 5 games.
I am looking at things retrospectively-Angels had a better record than TB, but they were eliminated by the Sox.
I am not sure I am totally addressing your point, but by my standards at this point, TB is the best team in baseball.
If Phillies win, well then if you use the WS as the criterion, then they would be considered the best team in baseball.
Who do you consider the best team in baseball at this point and why?
