Will not disagree w/ that but what he did in the game the other night was a joke. I just wish he had to get his scrawny ass up to the plate after shit like that. And Manny, crying and running to the mound on his pitch was a joke. I was pulling for them until that scene, now I will never pull for them again w/ those two clowns. I agree the NYY were in the wrong too. But not as bad as the Redsox, Pedro started it and there players must take the consequences. Manny didn't do that. I hope it is a great game tonight and the NYY win 5-4..
Just remember, the Rocket didn't make Boston....... Boston made the Rocket and he will thank them with a couple gopher balls tonight....... and all this time you guys thought he worked for the Yanks NOPE he's been on Boston's payroll all along. The only way to beat the "Evil Empire" is with the "Evil Plan" and we have it........ SUCKERS! :D
I totally think Manny over reacted but i think it was in the moment emotion and as far as Pedro goes more people should really look at the tape again i guess cause Pedro was going after NOBODY and Zimmer ran at him swinging. Pedro could have easily jumped on him and started swinging or punch him when Zimmer ran him but he didn't he grabbed him and threw him down. Zimmer was the only apology for a good reason and it's cause he was the one out of place and wrong charging a player. I don't care how old a man is, if he is well enough to charge me swinging i would have probably done more damage than Pedro did and i would have called it self defense. A Woman, no way wouldn't touch but another man charging and swinging? Fuck that i would take him out in a second and as far as pointing to his head and looking at the dugout? No he wasn't saying i'm going to hit you in the head, he said use your head cause he was not in a situation where he wanted to lose the game and take his head off. Mccarver SUCKS and has no clue half the time and he also painted the wrong picture for the audience cause that's not what was said.Schilling was on Sports radio the other day and said pitching the way Pedro does is the only way to dominate in a hitter friendly game and it has always been the way to win. Check out how many people Clemens has plunked and if i remember he hit Piazza in the HEAD didn't he? I'm sure it was a mistake just like throwing the broken bat at him was.... YA RIGHT!
Real tough call there and i'm one of the few people left up here that still loves the "Rocket" for what he did in Beantown.
As far as best i would have to go with Pedro. He has had a better line up behind him than Roger BUT even though there was no 20 strikeout game Pedro still had some stretches of TOTAL DOMINATION that i said was something i would someday look back at. He's a small guy and his only weapon to win is the Baseball and with his frame he should not be able to do what he does. He is the funniest and happiest guys to watch in the dugout when he's not pitching. The players love him and he pitches his ass off for his team. If anyone ever knew this guy out side of N.E. they would see what kind of guy he is off the field and he is a special player their too.
I said they were in the wrong too, but for you to side w/ Pedro on throwing a 72 year old man down is weak. He could have moved two feet and side stepped him, He wasn't coming very fast. But when he pitches like that and the other team does too, no need to get all excited like Manny did, if rocket wanted to beam him he would have, just like Pedro did. I agree w/ the pitching style 100% but not with there actions. We are not talking about last year, that too was wrong, we are talking about this year, and PEDRO was wrong. He is a Puss and Manny is too, just watch your ear hole tonight, should be exciting to watch.
If Zimmer (A Coach) didn't charge Pedro (A Player) at ANY speed that NEVER would have happened and in every case you get the Cause (Zimmer) and effect (Pedro) so my bottom line is don't jump in a pool if you don't wanna get wet and Zimmer started it clearly!
