    Chicago Cubs at New York Mets [7:10 PM ET]

    Cubs: Rich Harden was scheduled to start tonight against the Mets but he was scratched as the Cubs begin to adjust their lineup for the postseason. Replacing Harden is Sean Marshall, who has started six games for the Cubs this season but has primarily contributed out of the bullpen. Marshall has started one game against the Mets in his career, giving up seven runs in just 5.1 innings of work..

    Cubs are 20-6 in their last 26 road games.
    The OVER is 11-3-1 in last 15 meetings.

    Key Injuries - NONE

    PROJECTED SCORE: 2

    Mets (-230, O/U 7.5): Johan Santana has been sensational over his last 10 starts, allowing two runs or less eight times. Santana is 7-3 at home this season with a stellar 2.26 ERA. Santana is coming off a strong performance against Washington, allowing just one run in seven innings of work. Two of Santana’s last three starts have gone OVER the total.

    Mets are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. NL Central.
    Mets are 8-1 in Santana’s last 9 starts.

    Key Injuries - 3B Fernando Tatis (shoulder) is OUT.

    Chicago White Sox at Minnesota Twins [ 8:10 PM ET]

    White Sox: Javier Vazquez got blasted by the Yankees his last time out, allowing six runs over 3.2 innings. He’s struggled on the road this year, going just 5-8 with a 4.85 ERA. He’s faced the Twins 15 times in his career, compiling a record of 6-5 with a 4.86 ERA. The UNDER is 5-1 in Vazquez’s last six starts.

    White Sox are 5-0 in Vazquez’s last 5 starts with 4 days of rest.
    White Sox are 5-1 in their last 6 vs. AL Central.

    Key Injuries - 2B Chris Getz (wrist) is OUT.

    Twins (-130, O/U 8.5): Scott Baker has been the king of no-decisions over his last 10 starts, going 2-1 with seven no-decisions. Baker hasn’t pitched well in his last three starts at the Metrodome, allowing 11 runs in 18.2 innings pitched. Baker is 2-2 in seven career starts versus the White Sox but his ERA is a ridiculous 7.99. The OVER has cashed four straight times with Baker on the mound.

    Arizona Diamondbacks at St. Louis Cardinals [8:15 PM ET]

    Diamondbacks: Randy Johnson has recorded five no-decisions in a row but he’s pitched extremely well in his last two starts, allowing only two runs in 13 innings of work. Johnson has been average against the Cardinals in his career, going 6-6 with an ERA close to four. The UNDER has cashed easily in Johnson’s last two starts.

    Diamondbacks are 3-8 in their last 11 road games vs. a right-handed starter.
    Diamondbacks are 3-11 in their last 14 road games.

    Key Injuries - 2B David Eckstein (knee) is questionable.

    Cardinals (-115, O/U 8.5): The Cardinals have won two games in a row with Kyle Lohse on the mound after dropping six straight. Lohse has been very good at home this season, going 7-2 with a strong 3.25 ERA. In his career against the Diamondbacks Lohse is 1-1 with a 3.27 ERA. The UNDER is 3-1 in Lohse’s last four starts.
