I only watched the last 5 minutes of last nights game. His stats were awesome!

Frank, Let's be realistic here. His stats were FAR from awesome. If his stats were awesome, what were McNabb's stats on Sunday considered? I could show you 20 games last year with qb's who had awesome stats and they would put his to sleep. You are smarter than that and can't be serious.

I didn't see him throw one single pass in the part of the game I watched. When I see a stat that he had the 2nd best passing percentage in his first start in NFL history IMO that's pretty impressive. Especially, when one considers the pressure he was facing.

And yes, McNabb's stats on Sunday were awesome. It was also vs. a terrible team.

BTW Big Ben's stats were also awesome on Sunday.

I'm not buying into this Brett who bullshit yet.Matt Ryan had a first good game also and I aint out to rush and by a jersey yet.Here's what I want to see before I make my judgement on Aaron:
1.How he plays against a great defense
2.How he plays on the road
3.How he plays in the cold.Green Bay ain't California
4.How he plays in the playoffs-Don't know how long that will take him to get there.Could be years before he makes it.

1. Minny is 'supposed' to have one of the best defenses in the league.

3. IMO shouldn't be a factor. He's lived in GB for a few seasons. Also, Brett didn't perform well in the cold in his recent past.

Well Minnesota's pass defense was horrible last year too and Rodgers played it safe last night with alot of dink and dunk passing. The receivers did the work. They played it safe because they knew Jackson was not capable of beating them on the other side. He never wowed me any. Play someone not 28th in pass defense than i'll decide.

He had a good game and executed the game plan perfectly. McCarthy had a conservative game plan, understandibly so, and Rodgers did what he had to do to win the game.

I was impressed. We shall see. It is a long season- he could throw 4 picks next week - who knows? I just liked what I saw last night

I take it you didn't watch the game Dino. If every team threw all passes within 10 yards of the line, that would be a normal %.

Im surprised everyone is still debating this...the completion % was good if you want to say awesome thats fine...they were lil dump offs easy passes, he threw one up for grabs that his guy came down with that was a horrible throw...if anyone saw the game they wouldnt be saying he was AWESOME, he did what little he was asked to do throw short accurate passes against one of the weakest secondaries in the league...McNabb on the other hand was...even Big Ben had a great game...shit Cutler last night had a lot of great passes I thought and had a great game...

2 out of 4 ain't bad
The only thing I will say about the cold is that him standing on the sideline with a big coat on and warmers in is pockets is alot easier than out there taking snaps and throwing a football.Wait till it's 20 degrees and his throwing hand hits somebodys helmet.See how good he does that next series.
