by far my worst is the detroit lions. in the history of sports i rank them wiht the old washington senators, kansa city athletics (1950's & 60's they were the yankees minor league team), la clippers, and #5 the red wings during the 70's under ned harkness. who are yours?

Boy that's a tough one........
It has to be between the Pittsburgh Pirates & the Detroit Lions. But seeing as how the lions have done absolutely NOTHING since the 1950's, they get the award!!

Brewers have been pretty awful.

And......when you spend as much money as the Cubs and never win anything....you have to be considered.

No offense,but other than for one year, the Detroit Tigers have been pretty horrible themselves; I believe that their recent trip to the WS was the first season in at least 20 years during which they even made the playoffs.

Baltimore Orioles up until they brought McPhail in to run the front office. Peter Angelos meddling has brought nothing but misery and crappy baseball to Baltimore for the last decade. They may be turning a corner with some good young talent now, but they have a ways to go to catch the Sox, Yanks, and Rays.

I love Markakis and Adam Jones, need to keep them and rebuild the pitching staff.
