I don't know how someone can say this defense is getting older when they have clearly gone in the younger direction though.

Me too. The D Line is nasty, the LB's are VERY deep, and very young and talented too. The secondary is also getting younger and that is where the questions are. If the front 7 gets to the QB though, it will take alot of pressure of the DB's!

games are won in the front lines of both sides of the ball......................thats what i believe will be the killer for my bengals and that is why we need 4 qbs in cincy

Here something interesting if anyone care??? Since 1998 team that lost the SuperBowl, never make it back to the Playoff the following year...except for TEN and SEA

            98 DEN W ATL L 99 ATL 5-11 NPL
            99 STL W TEN L 00 TEN 13-3 PL
            00 BAL W NYG L 01 NYG 7-9 NPL
            01 NE W STL L 02 STL 7-9 NPL
            02 TB W OAK L 03 OAK 4-12 NPL
            03 NE W CAR L 04 CAR 7-9 NPL
            04 NE W PHI L 05 PHI 6-10 NPL
            05 PIT W SEA L 06 SEA 10-6 PL
            06 IND W CHI L 07 CHI 6-10 NPL
            07 NYG W NE L 08 NE ???

So the question is will the trend continue and NE will not make the playoff this year and maybe less than 10 wins total??? Good chance they will if Brady is hurt.

Why would the winn total not be affected by the loss of Brady? I think you are wrong.

I agree 100%. If it was any other position player, maybe it wouldn't change but if Brady was out for the year, that number would be OTB and a much smaller one like 9 to 10 would come back! No doubt about that. The same would happen with Manning, Romo and a few others too.

Oh course every team is Wayne, you misunderstood me...this guy above said if Brady misses every single game they still win division by 3 games, in other words easily without a doubt...and my point was not a chance...just as colts wont win without manning, neither will pitt without big ben and so on

As some have stated, linebackers & QBs have played with "broken" legs before (hairline cracks). So Brady could surely play well enough to throw OK and win games. Depends on the severity of the crack I guess.

Also, NE wins their division by 3 games, regardless of who QBs the Pats. I would take NE to win their division without even batting an eyelash, even if Brady was to miss the entire season.

All this rambling is "IMHO", and not gospel! LOL!!
Here we go, now we can see if you were right Slappy...you were wrong on the score and I cashed easily...but now we will see if NE can win the division by 3 games without Tom
