That's gonna be a tough bet to root for if Brady plays. Which by the way, broken ankle?? Are you kidding, his foot might have a crack, nothing says anything about a broken ankle, who's reporting this nonsense? He just practiced, do you think he could practice on a broken ankle?

They still have an over/under of 12 1/2 wins at Bookmaker.

This reminds me of when Tiger won the US Open with a "double fracture" in his leg as well as the torn ligament. 2 small micro cracks are not a "broken" leg. Nothing against Tiger here, I love him but the media played this up a little too much.

I suspect you can play on a small cracked bone if in the right place. Many guys do and many have probably cracked a bone without breaking it and never eeven knew it.
        NBA is a joke

yea i hear you...hoping for the best which would be limited playing time for TOM...but if he goes, ill take my chances...that KC can establish LJ a bit and open up a few passes, maybe even lose by 14...

This is why I took Buffalo to win the AFC East. imo Brady will not hold up this year.

another thing might be to pull brady early if they get a lead and allow KC to get the backdoor cover...or Belichick runs the ball more to not leave Brady open to take hits...either way leaves it open to a low scoring game and hopefully a KC cover...root me on guys please...

holy shit lets hope its not...I wouldnt mind a 17-9 halftime score to give me some hope for the 2nd half...lot of LJ and some dink and dunks for Croyle to Gonzalez...who knows might hook up with Bowe for a big play or two...

KC has as much chance of staying within 16 of N.E. as would USC or Georgia. KC is one BAD football team. Look for a 38-14 type score.

As some have stated, linebackers & QBs have played with "broken" legs before (hairline cracks). So Brady could surely play well enough to throw OK and win games. Depends on the severity of the crack I guess.

Also, NE wins their division by 3 games, regardless of who QBs the Pats. I would take NE to win their division without even batting an eyelash, even if Brady was to miss the entire season.

All this rambling is "IMHO", and not gospel! LOL!!

Thanks slappy i guess im down 165 and no one has kicked off yet...haha...you cant be serious about NE winning the division even if Brady misses the entire season...did you see the preseason, did you see their backup QBs absolutely horrible, might be the worse backups in the entire league not to mention their D is getting older and missing Samuel...they need Brady badly...without him they are just another run of the mill team IMHO

Actually buddy, their D is a whole lot younger, not older ... and they look pretty good. Mayo is a stud!

They will be alright at corner. They have some young studs they drafted there and they just brought in O'Neal for depth.

Isn't every team. The Colts w/out Manning? Dallas without Romo? Look at Philly when McNabb goes down. Not many teams have a Jeff Garcia on the bench. What about Pitt. if they lost Big Ben? Every team is fucked w/out their starting QB!

I think they may be using him for kick returns.

I don't know how someone can say this defense is getting older when they have clearly gone in the younger direction though.
