Report: Saints acquire Shockey for draft picks
          ESPN.com news services
The Giants agreed to trade the tight end to the New Orleans Saints for second- and fifth-round draft picks, according to a report on FOXSports.com. The deal is pending league approval, and Shockey must also pass a physical.

The Saints had offered the Giants the same deal for Shockey prior to April's draft but were rebuffed.

The Saints and Giants had also previously discussed a three-team trade in which the Giants would have landed former Miami Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor, who was traded to the Washington Redskins on Sunday, the Saints would have acquired Shockey and the Dolphins would have received draft picks, according to SI.com.
Why? They won without him last year. He talks too much. The best thing for the Giants.

Dude, my first encounter with one was at Texas Motor Speedway. I was walking under the track through the tunnel that leads from pit road back to the grandstands. I have my OU shirt on and it's the April race the year LSU beat OU in the Sugar Bowl. He has on one of those helmets with 2, 24oz beers with the hose attached to it. It's like 7am and I'm still hurting from the night before. Well as I approach him, he jumps in front of me and blocks the tunnel and starts screaming from the top of his lungs "TIGER BAIT, TIGER BAIT, TIGER BAIT" I wasn't sure whether to run, punch him and see if i could fight my way through, or lay down in the fetal position and cry my way out of it. Finally after about 30 seconds of chanting and slobbering on me, he patted me on the shoulder and went about his way. I've never been so relieved in my life

I'd rather not. I'd hate to turn OKC into a shit hole like New Orleans
