gaudin will help he'll eat up innings if needed, he'll provide insurance in case harden re-injures himself. I was actually pretty suprised that the A's included him as a throw in.

Tech I disagree about Gaudin...I think that's the icing on the cake if marquis goes into his 2nd half slump he does every year or if Dempster slows down a bit in the 2nd half.

Why doesn't Oakland ever keep players and go for a title. They are not that far out right now. I would be depressed every year watching them. Yes, they make great trades but what ever comes of it???

OH I AGREE JUST THINKING THAT GAUDIN WILL NOT HELP THE TEAM WIN A WORLD SERIES.MATTER OF FACT SURE HE WOULD BE LEFT OFF THE POSTSEASON ROSTER ANYWAY.IF YOU COULD HAVE GOTTEN A GUY THAT YOU COULD USE TO PINCH RUN INSTEAD WOULD BE MORE VALUABLE IN THE POSTSEASON.EVERYTIME THE GAME IS ON THE LINE IT ALWAYS SEEMS LIKE DEROSA SOTO OR LEE IS AT FIRST WITH 2 OUTS A PNCH RUNNER THAT COULD STEAL 2ND AND GET IN SCORING POSITION TO ME WOULD BE MORE VALUABLE THAN A MIDDLE RELIEVER OR SPOT STARTER
