Of course not necessarily as errors and stuff can come into play but for the most part it is PRIMARILY on the reliever to make the pitches where as in hockey and football the TEAM as a whole works TOGETHER defenseively when holding a lead...less stressful and makes you feel a little more safer knowing its not on one guys hands mainly...

Yes it is primarily on the reliever to make the pitches, but don't forget the hitter still has to hit, and the hardest thing to do in sports is hit a 90 mph moving fastball with a wooden bat.
With that being said, it's obviously verrrrry difficult to pick games on a winning level consistently for an entire 162 game season.
There are days when a 5-0 lead is blown in the 9th but its not often, there are games that go 1-0, 2-1, 3-2, 4-2, 5-4, 6-5 game over and those are GREAT baseball games, the type that make this sport great. But it doesn't happen everday in everygame.
I took the Rockies last night, loved the pitching, hitting & home field advantage so I took em big against the maxi- Pads.
rockies load the bases with 0 out in the 1st only score one run, im thinking blown opportunity! second inning padres rookie chase headley hits a home run ties the game, thinking momentum heavy on san diegos side right now! 2nd inning rockies load the bases again, score 4 more runs end up winning the game 8-1...in my opinion rockies did what they were supposed to do, doesn't happen everytime but it's a lot less stressful when your on the right side and they play the right way. and if it doesn't go the way you thought it should o well on to tommorow....

after what ive seen the last 7 days. so many games had so many swings. i needed a break. i was venting because i was getting my ass kicked hard. watching wayne struggle this week shows how tough the last 7 days have been. nice work Spark on zona win even after you said you have had a tough couple of days. if i had mil, id be sick to my stomach. if i had arizona today, i would be playing again because that game could change my luck for the good. every season has a tough stretch for the bettor and i think its now. it will turn again. happy 4th guys and GOD BLESS!!!!!!
