I think Detroit is trying to move Sheed. Would GS take him for Davis?

Never. Mo Williams? Desmond Mason? for BD... Baron is the most under the radar stars in the game. Nobody can gaurd him one on one, he's clutch, and he makes his teammates much better.

The only way we really trade him is this riff between him and Nelly is as serious as some media make it sound. This is the best system for Barons game.

I doubt it is to GS but i really believe the one guy the Pistons want to move is Rasheed Wallace.

Baron is much more valuable to our team than Sheed would be. IMO sheed is not the personality this team needs. He's too inconsistent and doesn't bring his lunch pail every day. Detroit is willing to move sheed because Maxiel is the hard working guy teams are looking for and sheed isn't.

Sheed does make about 6 mil less per than BD which is a plus but I think we are trying to stay on the younger side of things. If we're willing to move Davis it is clear to me Mullin is setting up our run for 2-3 years from now and not next year.

Davis for Mo Williams and Desmond Mason/oranother Buck castoff would be equal money.

Williams signed last year for 9+ million a year. he has shortcomings but is a legit 18 point a game guy and is still only 25. His problem is that he doesn't know how to set up his teammates and is awful defensively. He is, however, a lot better than many other point guards being dangled as trade bait (Heinrich, Jamal Tinsley)

Happy with both picks, but you know Nellie we probably won't see 'em rookies.
But we'll see more of Brandon Wright.

So Baron Davis opts out of his contract today and most think he is going to L.A.

That has to hurt getting nothing in return for him now but the good thing is the money it will free up. I heard they offered Arenas 100 million today but i doubt he leaves Washington (Who will still offer more). Now what for G.S.? This has to be a definate bummer because draft day could have gone much differently maybe???

I feel like the Clippers and Warriors just switched places in the West. I really like the Davis Brand combo with Maggette in the mix!

I am not a 'capologist', but I do not think they can afford Brand and Davis while keeping Maggette. I think Magette has to go to make it happen.

I heard people all day saying that the 3 of them will be a nice fit in L.A.

Why would they all be saying that if it wouldn't work? If Pierce, Garnett and Allen can fit under the cap, i'm assuming these 3 can.

C's traded away big contracts to take them on board. Clips would have to sign all of them.

Maggette is also a FA...they can't sign all three.

ESPN reporting that Davis signed a $65 million/5 yr contract with the Paper Clips.
