Bonine got the win thanks to the Tigers scoring 12 runs but he was far from impressive, allowing six runs in 5.1 innings. Before being called up from the minors, Bonine was 24-7 with the Erie Sea Wolves and Toledo Mud Hens. He was 9-2 with Toledo this season but his ERA was an unimpressive 4.48.

In his last 10 starts, Lee has allowed two runs or less six times. The key to Lee's success has been control. He has given out just 14 walks compared to 76 strikeouts this season. Surprisingly, the OVER has cashed easily in each of Lee's last three starts.
