Yah man I stayed away from this game because it looked shady from the second the line came out...then Boston doesnt foul down 6? I mean c'mon its only the Finals!

I started to realise its best to cap the NBA before the game and then bet it one half at a time....this whole league is starting to smell with fixes.....Im still a firm believer that I saw a fixed game on TNT between Houston and Portland. With that said Im still gonna try the Lakers in game 4 with the smaller line LOL

I had an in-progress wager on the under 169. A truly miraculous win - it makes up for a few of those last second shot losses. I bet a team would foul 95% of the time in that situation - it was only a 2 possession game with 20+ seconds to go. I'm still in disbelief...

We both know what we saw that night Ronnie...was the shadiest ending to a sports game I have ever witnessed in my life in that Houston/Portland game earlier in the season...it is just one of several examples of rigged shit we see in the final minutes of games in this league on a consistent basis and I actually havent wagered on one single NBA game since that night after I witnessed a fix with my very own eyes...it will never cease to amuse me...

Ok Yes Boston should have fouled. Pierce couldnt foul otherwise it would have been his 6th foul. Everyone else was so concerned about Kobe getting the ball back abd burying two free throws.

Someone should have come over to help Pierce and foul, but they could not because then someone would be left open down low for an easy bucket or the ball goes back to Kobe who they did not want to shoot free throws. Crappy situation, but Pierce should have fouled and not worried about sitting out. He was not doing too much while he was in there.

In that spot the winning team often concedes and easy layup. If the Celtics take a 3 even if they miss will they foul again? By your own admission it was less than 10% Lakers get the c over.

The NBA is a fucking joke. Stern can brush off Donaghy's allegations. He and the league are in a real bind. This playoff season there's been lots of screaming about the huge advantage the home team is enjoying. Donaghy's allegations solidify the questions.

Ok nothing wrong with calling an assist a Dime. It has been called that by kids in high schools and colleges for some time now. They are just trying to reach a target audience and to include the whole demographic they wish you have to adjust how you speak sometimes. 2nd those guys are good at what they do and sometimes take it too far. They know very little about sports but know how to broadcast the highlights and try to make it interesting.


Live Jive that was very well said. Humans control the outcomes of these games. Some days the refs are ticky tacky with mickey mouse calls, some days they let the players play. Last night they let the players play for the most part or so I thought. If we did not want someone to control the outcome of a game then there would be no need for referees. It could just be like a pickup game with fouls called by players.
