Good morning! The guy that writes those has been dragging his heels badly on the weekends for a couple of months, now. We'll get those in, though, as soon as he writes them. Good luck today, ironman95!!

      Here comes some more.....

          ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hot Lines: Saturday's best MLB bets
          ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

          Boston vs. Baltimore (+115, 9)

One night after a 13-inning win in Baltimore, the Red Sox will look to win back-to-back road games for only the second time this month as they continue their four-game set with the Orioles on Saturday.

Boston, which has won just six of its last 20 road games, hasn't notched consecutive road wins since its first two road games of May, when it won a pair in Detroit.

Jon Lester takes the mound for the Sox and he's 3-0 in four career starts against Baltimore, allowing just two runs in 13 innings in a pair of wins last September. He did not factor in the decision in Baltimore on May 14, allowing two runs in six innings.

Garrett Olson, meanwhile, has never beaten the Red Sox, going 0-2 with a 7.63 ERA in three starts.

          Pick: Red Sox -135

          Florida vs. Philadelphia (-230, 9 1/2)

After beating the Florida Marlins to gain the NL East lead, the Phillies go for their seventh straight win with Cole Hamels on the mound - and their sixth straight overall - as they continue their three-game series on Saturday night at Citizens Bank Park.

However, Hamels (5-3, 3.18 ERA) struggled through his worst start of the season Sunday, giving up a season-high six runs in a season-low four innings. But the Phillies' offense bailed out its ace with 16 hits, including three home runs, in the 15-6 victory - Philadelphia's sixth straight win with Hamels on the mound.

The Phillies (32-24) followed up that effort with a three-game sweep of Colorado during which they totaled 33 runs, including a new season-high 20 in the opener. Their hot hitting continued in a 12-3 victory over the Marlins (30-23) on Friday night, which gave Philadelphia the NL East lead for the first time since May 5.

"It's ridiculous," Friday's starter Brett Myers said. "I feel bad for anybody that has to pitch against us right now."

          Pick: over

                      Six-pack for Saturday

Odds to win college football championship this season:

-- USC 5-2-- Trojans are breaking in new QB this season.

-- Georgia opened at 6-1, is now at Ohio State (4-1) as second choice to win BCS title game in Miami next January.

-- Michigan (25-1) is a horrible investment; West Virginia is a better one (18-1); just don't tell Rich Rodriguez that.

-- Nebraska opened at 400-1, is now 85-1; Notre Dame was a 300-1 shot, is now 70-1. In both cases, why?????

-- Arkansas opened 45-1, is now 75-1, maybe because they didn't expect Petrino to last this long in Fayetteville.

-- Tennessee, South Carolina are both 55-1; Vols have ton of new assistant coaches, as Cutcliffe is coaching at Duke now.

Saturday's List of 13: Nobody asked me, but..........

                        13) It makes sense that Georgia Bulldogs retired the #34 worn by Herschel Walker, but they retired it for every sport. So, say your daughter is a great field hockey player whose favorite # is 34-- she's out of luck if she wants to be a Lady Dawg.

                        12) Nationals scored two or less runs in seven of ten starts by Siena alum John Lannan, who is a pretty good pitcher.

                        11) Less surprising is Mark Kotsay going on DL with bad back in Atlanta-- its little like the swallows returning to Capistrano.

                        10) Jack Nicklaus' golf course design company is building golf courses in 45 different countries; I can't name 45 countries, at least I don't think I can. We're not going to find this one out.

                        9) Why were eight teams off on Memorial Day? Its a freakin' national holiday!!! Why was Toronto home? Its not a holiday in Canada. The schedule can't possibly be that hard to make.

                        8) Clemson, Florida State, Georgia Tech and Texas Tech are all playing not one, but two I-AA teams this season-- this isn't a good thing. There are enough bad I-A teams to beat who need a big paycheck-- I-AA wins shouldn't count towards a bowl.

                        7) Matt Ryan is making more than Tom Brady. Seriously.

                        6) Rockies led 9-1 in sixth inning Friday and lost 10-9 to Cubs. Pretty soon, Colorado will need 21-1 streak to get to .500.

                        5) Kevin Kouzmanoff was 0-6 Friday night at San Francisco; he had 10 men on base in his six at-bats, drove in none of them. Melvin Mora had a worse night, going 0-6 with two errors.

                        4) Tigers scored seven runs in first inning, knocking Silva out after just 34 pitches, then hung on to win 7-4.

                        3) Someone explain to me how umpire Jim Wolf is working the Giant-Padre series this weekend; his brother Randy pitches for San Diego. This isn't a potential conflict of interest? If you had a job managing the Giants, would you be happy if guy behind the plate had a brother in the other dugout? Didn't think so.

                        2) Arizona is 20-8 against NL West teams, 10-17 vs the others.

                        1) If the playoffs started Saturday at noon, they'd look like this
                        NL: Phillies-Cubs-Diamondbacks-Cardinals/
                        AL: Rays-White Sox-Angels-Red Sox

                        ----------------------------------------------------------------------
