    The article isn't about teams making it to the finals. It's about 100 season WITHOUT a title. During the 100 seasons the Eagles twice played in the Super Bowl.

    Yes, I was mistaken. The Indians played in the WS a few years ago.

      Cleveland had it in 97 if Mesa and Tony Fernandez didnt choke it away....I remember that series like it was yesterday, one of the best ever.

        Well Philly lost in the WS in the 90's too didn't they? Against Toronto??

        Playing in and Winning are much different. Trust me, after the 86' Red Sox ... I know!

              Actually, I was a senior in high school and had just gone to their basketball camp the previous summer and all of the players were working the camp so to see them win it all was pretty cool.

              80' through 85' was a pretty good time w/ Nova, the 80' Phils and the 83' Sixers. Pretty nice drought since then though.
