Big Brown cruises w/o challenge in Preakness, appears to be ready to make history in 3 weeks.
Berkman, 2-3, HR, RBI, run. Second player since 1956 to get 32 hits in 56 AB. S-I-Z-Z-L-I-N-G Also one of two have 7HR and 27 hits over 7 game period. Big Brown, a 2-5 favorite, is 2/3 of the way there, 1.5 miles from becoming the 12th horse to win the Triple Crown.
Lance Berkman, Houston Astros, is 2nd in BA, 3rd in HR and 3rd in RBI, with 4 months left in the season, trying to become the first Triple Crowner since 1937 in the NL ( Frankie Fritsch)
