  • Is Kevin Garnett soft?

It appears KG is the NBA's equivalent to baseball's Arod.

How can one of the top players in the league have 2 second half points in a crucial playoff game?

How does a power forward in a tight playoff game only commit one personal foul?

More importantly, how does a NBA all-defensive first teamer, with 1 foul, allow being dunked on by LeBron James? Garnett has to contest that dunk with a hard foul.

Lebron is shooting 25% for the series. Yet, the series is tied. Boston lead the league in road wins this year but are 0-5 on the road in the playoffs.

On a James breakaway in the first half Pierce nearly tackled James. Garnett made a feeble attempt stopping James.

Yes, i think he is. I've watched this team all year play precise, crisp, basketball home and away. At home they are still playing well but i just can't figure out what is happening on the road. This is the same team that swept the Texas trio on the road and beat the Lakers on the road too. They look horrible away from home and i have several reasons why (Starting with Doc Rivers) but overall, they are just playing horribly. I don't get it and it is shocking to fans up here who have followed them all year. It really is. Unless something changes, they have no chance against the Pistons and possibly the Cavs too if they lose tomorrow. I'm very disappointed watching these 3 guys right now. It isn't from being tired or old because they had plenty of rest at season's end. Simply put, they are playing like 3 guys without a ring.

I remember watching KG when he was with Minnesota playing the Lakers in the playoffs. I gota say I was very impressed how he took over the game offensively. Now it seems like he's settling for outside jump shots and posting up then dishing the ball off. The whole teams needs to be more aggressive and attack the basket.I would be screaming at them If I was Doc Rivers. Very frustrating to watch as a celtic fan.

Also Doc has had some real shitty lineups late in the games. Cassel, Posey, Brown, Davis, Pierce???? What the fuck is the shit?? Who's gona score? Maybe if there up by 20. This is the playoffs doc..wake the fuck up!

KG is not soft. Take him off this team and they never would even be considered as a contender. Talk to Ray and Paul if we want to find where the softness lies...Not to mention Rondo is showing his youth much more now.

I do agree. Of the names mentioned above, KG is clearly playing the best. He just can't carry a team late like many of us (Me), thought he would.

KG is def the MVP of the team without a doubt but offensively in the playoffs he has yet to break out. Pierce?? not sure if guarding Labron is wearing him down on the offensive side. If your not shooting well drive to the hole and draw fouls. All the great NBA players did it. ie MJ, Malone, Barkley to name a few. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. cant say it enough. Bring in Heinson!!! Tommy point baby! As far as Rondo goes.. He is showing his youth but I thought he played very well last game shooting 7-14. Ray is an outside shooter. Thought he had a good 3rd quarter then they went to the scrubs early in the 4th and let it slip away.

Garnett was more concerned for LeBron's Mom...had is arm around her!

I have never seen a player that can be so dominant refuse to take games over. He disappears in the clutch and is wayyy to passive.

Boston has been passing up wide open looks early in the shot clock all series, then they end up taking some bullshit fadeaway when the clock is running down.

I blame the coach. Too conservative, let the boys attack more.

KG is not soft, he just does not like the pressure of the game on the line and would rather pass it. I like KG, Lebron can make a lot of guys look soft when he goes in strong.
                          NBA is a joke

not his fault when you have ball hogs like rondo and cassell jacking up shots

Ray Ray is in a horrid shooting slump, the bencch has been brutal, and Rondo is over his head

Hard for the other guys to get shots when ur point guard is playing selfishly and bad
