Brewers win the division IF and ONLY IF Ben Sheets stays healthy and that is probably not going to happen.

As far as the Reds go....I don't think they are young. Dunn is not young, Griffey is a fossil. And I don't think they have the offense top to bottom to compete with the Cubs/Brewers and even the Cardnals.

I looked up ages and the Reds average age for the pitching staff is 30 and the hitters are 31

Brewers avg age on the pitching staff is 30 and the hitters are 29

Cubs average age on the pitching staff is 30 and the hitters are 29.
we are talking about baseball here. age is not as big as a factor. 30 is young for a staff. You must be factoring in the bullpens, because the Reds starting rotation average is 27.

Grandmama, have you been hanging out in Maine, smoking some of that weird crap with Wayne? As a die hard Mets fan, i don't know what is more funny, your breakdown of the Reds or the Mets winning the series!

Great they have Ben Sheets-he hasn't played a complete season since 04'. Dave Bush is your number 2. WHEW! In the Reds pen, Merker, coffey, and Weathers are all old, but they do have some younger guys. Fact of the matter, is that the Brewers and Reds are both young. I like the Brewers lineup, but they are in serious need of another starting pitcher.

Ben Sheets pitched a complete game THIS year.
Dave Bush is the number 5 starter, not number 2.
Yovanni Gallardo and Carlos Villanueva are excellent young starters.

Milwaukee's problem is indeed the unreliability of Gagne. However, yesterday's blown save is because of a blown double play.

Milwaukee's big problem is their two big hitters, Braun and Fielder, aren't hitting. I think they may both have big down years.

The best team in the NL Central is the Cubs.
The team with the most upside is the Brewers (if they find an alternative for Gagne)

How much you want to bet the Cubs finish higher in the NL Central over the Reds?

I'd be willing to wager they'll beat Cincinatti by more then 10 games.
