If you like authentic Mexican there's a very good restaurant in the same shopping center as NSB Steakhouse. I think it's called Clancy's. Very reasonably priced.

Do you go to Flagler Ave in NSB? I'm sure you have. It's the street that runs from the ocean to the river. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops. It's a great place to go during the day for some shopping and lunch. Then a great place to party at night at Flagler Tavern and Traders.

I'm not sure when the new Daytona Kennel is scheduled to open.
Flagler Avenue,is that over the bridge and to the right coming from the beach. We watch them shoot fireworks off and most of the time they have live music down there.Fun time.

We(my whole family except Tech Fan ) go to New Smyrna Beach in Florida the last week of June.Saturday to Saturday and we have about 12 of us down there.Great location being 11/2 hr from Orlando,30 minutes from Daytona and 1 hr from St Augustines World Golf Hall of Fame.2 good seafood places called J.B's Fish Camp and Norwoods.A great bar that is on the beach and has great food is Chases.Weekends are a party there. They have a pool on the deck and it gets rowdy I have to get some gambling in so we take a casino cruise one night out of Ponce Inlet and we hit the dog track in Daytona a couple of times also.
May be a useless thread, but what else do we have to look foward to.Name some bars and resturants in your locations cause I like to EAT and DRINK.
You dont need casino cruises anymore. Hard Rock has a casino in Tampa and Hollywood Florida. They dont have table games yet but are suppose to get them June 23rd.

Tampa is about 2 - 2 1/2 hours from NSB. Hollywood is about 3 hours.

I hear Hard Rock is opening 5 or 6 casinos throughout Florida. Maybe 1 will be close.

We went to Hard Rock Tampa a couple of years ago and all they had was slots. We ended up going to the dog track in St Pete.Frank is right, that is a long drive. We like the casino criuse cause it sets sail at about 7:30 and you ride out about 45 minutes to International Waterway so it gives you time to watch the sunset(if your wife is with you ) and get a couple of drinks in you and start gambling. My wife came down to a blackjack table and told me I need to come see how pretty the sunset is.I was like babe,I'm on a casino cruise theres nothing pretier than a blackjack at $50 a hand I have an uncle who lives in Tampa,so if we go see him this year I will go to Hard Rock and play some tables. Thanks
