Sorry, couldn't resist! Actually, there is a buzz in the city tonight, especially at the Sox game once it went final. This is getting very interesting! Habs collapse twice in the 3rd...collar getting pretty tight....

YuP! All the pressure is on the Habs now....hopefully they handle it like Chado, GO BRUINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know about that. I would say Chicago hands down is the best sports city.
Have been to both (substantially more times to Boston) and have to disagree with that...Boston fans are more knowledgable (IMO) and more fanatic about their sports teams. Wrigley is fun to visit, but doesn't compare to the atmosphere surrounding or in Fenway...the electricity in the Fleet Center during a Bruins game is incredible (especialy during the playoffs). In Boston you can go to almost any bar and start talking sports with the locals...

There weren't to many Bruin fanatics a week ago. When their teams are winning.... yes it's a great sports town.
There's always a buzz in Boston over their sports teams. It has to be the best sports city in the nation. Go Sox, Go Bruins...
It's currently the best city because all the Boston teams have had great recent success. Prior to 2004 it was far from the best city. It was a city full of VERY pessimistic fans. Except for the Patriots they expected to lose.
It runs in cycles according to each cities success.

Let's be realistic. You can go in any bar in most sport cities and talk about sports. Boston doesn't corner the market. I can go into a sport bar here in Daytona and talk sports.
Hey Daytona has some of the most knowledgeable NASCAR fans. lol
