LVJimmy, molta, I was actually writing a list of people on this site that I fucking respect the most and you guys were right at the top when I was referring to in my original post about "there are a ton of people on this site I reall like and respect" and there are people that dont like me and so be it who gives a shit anymore. The thing that pisses me off and why I didnt come on here for the past couple weeks was the ones that dont like me CANNOT HELP THEMSELVES TO MAKE IT KNOWN and cant get off my nuts. on a side note-what a series for the b's and habs! while it was a little different having like 5,000 habs fans in the fleet center for the games, it made for an unreal atmosphere. so glad playoff hockey is relevant here again, i've missed it. habs were clearly the better team, but some of these young B's are really looking promising!


the east the rest of the way is gonna be some great hockey! i think detroit and san jose win pretty easily this round.

Honestly I was very impressed the way the Bruins physically battled us. After we snuck that 1-0 shutout out of Boston to go up 3-1 I had a leary feeling that we were gonna get complacent and think we could just show up and win. Of course that 3rd period in game 5 where the Bruins scored 4 goals to close the series game to 3-2 made me very angry. I know Julien told his team "ok boys you got one period of play to string together your season" or whatever and my Habs just thought we could rely on Price to save our assed and he could not. In game 6 I was amazed at how well your Bruins were playing. A big role overall in this series is how much the B's penalty killing stepped the fuck up. They were getting in passing lanes on our power play. Blocking shots and talking the body when we would try to dump it in and chase btu they would out physical us get the puck and get it out of the zone. I was so frustrated out how shitty our power play looked but like I said gotta give a TON of credit to your penalty kill. No matter what we tried we couldnt get in clicking and after watching my boys in probably about 70 of the 82 games this season in games 3 through 6 we looked like a different team. We couldnt score we couldnt do what we have done so easily all year and I was infuraited. The Habs team I have watched all year was the one we seen in game 7. It was almost like th boys knew that no it was time to show us what we worked for all year and that was it. Price is absoltely amazing. He is so calm cool and collective between the posts and makes the toughest saves so non-chalently and look so damn easy it is truly awesome. As for your Bruins Lucic and Savard are fucking awesome and also dont know what Julien was doing healthy scratching Kessel for the first 3 games of the series. He must have been under-performing prior the that or had off ice issues I am not sure. But yea TD Banknorth was rocking and and in game 6 that 3rd period your Bruins strung together was fucking unreal and the best I have seen from them all season. It was lucky after they finally got the monkey off their back of ending that 13 games losing streak against us they suddenly had confidence. In the end Price was just too much for a team that can struggle to score.

good stuff chado. that game 6 in boston was the best bruins post season game since the late 80's.

b's D was good, and i think they out worked the habs, but the habs were simply the better team.

kessel got benched in effect to give light a fire under his ass, which it did.

while they are the b's biggest rivals, i always pull for the canadian teams in the playoffs (i know it sounds corny), but the atmosphere in those games is just nuts up there.
