[QUOTE=ironman95]I think a lot of you are missing the point. Yeah, Memphis choked but they choked b/c of getting rattled after being up 60-51. Kansas gets a hoop, 60-53. Memphis makes a horrible play, second to G-town's gaffe vs. UNC in 1983. Kansas makes a three and in like 5 seconds it goes from 60-51 to 60-56. That is when Memphis shit the bed. Games like this haunt athletes all your lives. I still remember my last year of little league. Undefeated for two years, lost only 1 game the year b4 that. Lost the championship on a hanging curve when the catcher called for a fastball that no onecould hit. Kid hits it out, we lose. Last little league game, 25 years ago, remember it like yesterday. Tough blow for the Memphis program[/QUOTE

I really don't think so--they had an awesome year---why do so many people put a spin on a loss that happened in a championship game--MEMPHIS was put out there when TENN beat them handily. Memphis proved they are worthy and outside of losing in the waning minutes they are the second best team in the nation--the negativity in this world kills me---THEY were in the Championship--OMG they lost now they are pieces of shit...believe me I know how it feels to lose through Little league--high school and College---played football in high school and wrestled in college---ups and downs I guess---KU made it happen and they deserved it tonight!! They made it happen!

Don't dispute what you are saying Bryce. You just see the wind went out of the sails b/c, as they admitted afterward with the press, they thought the game. Then boom (to quote John Madden), 5 point swing. They just looked different after that turnover and 3 ball to close to 4. They looked scared like, hey we might not win. Just my opinion of what I saw. I believe you had KU so congrats Bryce.

guys, yes memphis choked and maybe i am biased because i just lost a wad of money, but even the dude on espn agreed with me,when it got under 5 tics, you foul before they line up for the three, then they have to make one, then miss on purpose, then get the rebound,etc.,etc.,TERRIBLE COACHING IN MY OPINION !!

The terrible coaching starts with Calipari's recruiting. He has FT shooting at like #28 of #30 things he looks at when he looks at a recruit. He doesn't feel FT shooting is important. Well, it cost him the game and a chance with UMASS as well.

FT shooting closes out close games . PERIOD!!!
          Good Luck to everyone

Richie: [after Gus hits a homerun] Wow and he did it without steroids.
          Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!
