i know what i've watched.

pitino is on another level than williams. look at some of the teams that williams has had and never won anything with at kansas. pitino has also taken 3 different schools to the final 4, which is very impressive.

I never argued what Pitino has done. He is a great coach. I just think people are foolish who think a guy who has an 800 win % over 20 years is not impressive on it's own. Not many have done that.

You could say that about coaches in every sport. Roy is in the Hall of Fame for a reason. I guess the voters see it and that's what counts.

99.9% of coaches that coached the majority of their games at Kansas and UNC would be high up on the winning % list! You get talent there year after year that other schools just don't get. Roy has way underachieved imo

1st off, this statement is not true when you consider how UNC fell off after Dean Smith left. They were terrible, plain and simple. I'm not gonna sit here and say Roy Williams is the greatest this or that or even argue whether or not he is better than Pitino, but you can't assume just because of the name on the jersey, the team will ALWAYS be good.

2nd, I do somewhat agree with KB's pt about not being totally sold on this team. Yes, I know they've only lost 2 games all year and they've hammered all 3 opponents in the tourney, but there's just something about this team that makes me wonder. I can't pinpoint it, but I know it's there...lol. Let me say this, when UNC had that team of 3 yrs ago (I think) and won it, I KNEW THAT TEAM WAS LEGIT. I guess my pt is unless they win it all this year, I won't be sold and I have to roll with 5 1/2 and a small ML bet tomorrow.

IMO-

mentally and physically soft, make bad decisions at the end of close games. i just don't think they are tough enough. all that said, i still like them agains louisville. i see the same pace as the tenn/lou game, and unc plays that style a hell of a lot better than louisville.
