Well....anything to get Big ben outta here with that contract is good

        BUT

I have said for the last 4-5 years Hughs is one of the most over rated / horrible shooting 2 guards in the leauge- if he couldnt thrive next to Lebron what he gonna do next to hienrich

        Gooden is a stiff also

        We traded garbage for garbage

Delonte West sucks hot ass ass also but wally and smith will help the cavs

I'm glad Wallace is out of here too. Paxson needed to go after Gasol though. He fucked up.

I don't get this trade, maybe contracts have something to do with it. The Sonics trade West and Szczerbiak for Newble, Mashall and Griffen, that makes no sense, and the Bulls trade Wallace, Smith and Duhon for Hughes and Goodenn, the two grossest players on the planet

I don't get it either. Ben and Big Z? Is one playing power forward? WTF ... just a dumb trade all the way around (IMO).

its all about dumping longterm contracts for seattle and chicago...obviously cavs trying to repeat as East champs but I dont think this move puts them aywhere closer to that

also one thing I dont understand is why the hell did chicago include chris duhon to seattle? im reading reports that duhon is included but whyy??

This trade makes Cleveland worse and not better (IMO). I really don't get it. If i was Lebron, i would be pissed!

decent trade for the cavs. shakes things up a bit, and gets rid of two stiffs.

aint that the truth -- Wallace - Hughes and Gooden = stiffs

Anyone who this Hughes is a good player needs to watch some more basketball

I was surprised that the Cavs were able to go as far as the did last year with that team. I'd rather have the 4 guys that they got than the four the gave up.

I watch a shitload of NBA basketball but i guess i need to watch more. When healthy, Hughes isn't nearly as bad as you guys make him out to be. There are many, many, more players in this league who are worse then him right now. He has always been a very good defensive player and in his last 10 games he has been healthy and averaging 20 ppg, 4.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals pg.

I would take him on my team over the "Stiffs" Cleveland got in return. The Cavs needed more scoring to go with Lebron and they just gave up a guy who has scored DD in 10 straight, is averaging 20 ppg in that stretch and even dropped a 40 point game in there and he plays defense. I've seen plenty of West and Wally in Boston and neither does anything for me. Big Ben can't score either so wtf?

Bad trade for the Cavs here and their team just got older, slower, and less potent on offense (IMO).

The guys on Sportscenter were saying the same thing earlier. "The Cavs got a whole lot slower with this deal".

They were not sold on it at all either saying "Where are the Cavs going with this deal?"

Ben Wallace has been a stiff for the Bulls and even with the Pistons he couldn't score. West and Wally are role players off the bench at best and Joe Smith will be hurt in no time. Cleveland was about to get some cap space open and this deal will not help that now. This isn't a team you are "Building" with around Lebron right now. It's almost like they have no clue what direction they want to go in. Who takes the load off Lebron now? Anyone?? I have no problem getting rid of Gooden but they should have kept Hughes. He can score the ball and Cleveland needs a couple of those guys to build around Lebron. If the Cavs could have had a Gasol or a Kidd or a Bibby, it would have made Hughes a 3rd or 4th option and the Cavs could have been dangerous in many places on the floor. Now it's Lebron and a bunch of misfits. I don't see anyone in this deal that Lebron can build chemistry or a future with. I really don't. The other teams letting go of salary and getting expiring contracts are the winners here (IMO).

I think Duhon can be another really nice piece up in Seattle and the Sonics got rid of some dead weight in Wally and West. I also think Hughes will give the Bulls a nice combo with Hinrich. I think the Bulls get more athletic here and i like their lineup!
