The Suns feel as though they need someone to guard Duncan...Amare is awful as a defender...but Shaq? At $42 million for two more years...I don't get it....

marion is the best player on that team.

Steve Nash is a two time MVP, best point guard who makes his team better. Then you have Stoudemire who is just a beast. I would trade Marion before either of these two. Marion is a very good all around player, close but I give the nod to Nash since pure point guards are hard to find.

I cannot see this happening though, Shaq cant run, doesnt make sense.

Having Shaq will allow them to play a totally different style of basketball if need be. Someone to put a big body on Duncan, Bynum, or whoever

Shaq isn't a good fit imo. The Suns are no good playing a half court game and it's definitely not Nash's strength. Shaq can't run the high pick and roll anymore and would just get in Amare's way. The Suns can't win playing in the 180-190 range and an old Shaq with a bad hip trying to run the court will hurt this team.
