not kicking the field goal was a huge mistake. sends the wrong message to the team. a 7-3 ballgame at the time going for it on 4th on long instead of kicking a 49 yarder proved to be HUGE. even if he misses the kick you have to kick that field goal
dude, who cares if he's made on all year...it's the NFL...if you're kicker in incapable of kicking a 49-yd FG, he shouldn't be on your roster...either way you look at it, it was a dumb move...Pats don't get it, NY got the ball on the 32...Pats miss the FG, NY gets it on the 39...7 yds difference equals an idiotic play call
