History has shown in all sports that teams that coast and expect to hit the light switch when necessary more often than not the light doesn't turn on. Is it a coincidence that the 2 remaining teams played all 16 games. The teams that rested their players the last week or two of the season all faced an early playoff exit.

Some more interesting info on this game is the ESPN America picks feature where the poll just asks who will win the game and the Pats are getting less then 60% of the vote......let me repeat that again....a team that opened as a 14 pt favorite is getting less than 60% love as a Pkem.....America is in love with the Giants for some odd reason

67% of America thinks the Giants keep it within 12 and 41% of them think they win the game outright.....folks this will be a bloodbath of epic proportions

      PEACE

Sqaure book doesnt want to give the points and the sharp book is inviting you to take them...everything pregame points to the Pats and I mean everything....now all they have to do is do it on the field

What I am getting out of this is that the Superbowl will be decided, most assuredly, by the public's perception of this game? If they think the Giants have a chance, that means they really dont? Or if the public thinks the Giants will win or cover, that means New England in a blowout? Is that what you guys are saying?

Here is the angle I am looking at:

In the last game of the season, NYG get out to a great start. Up 7 to begin the game, add in a Special teams TD, not to mention, Holding NE (one of the best Red Zone teams) to
3 FGs in the first half. I just can't see all that happening again to NE and Bellichek with 2 weeks to prepare.
So I am betting on NE getting a good start to this game and half. It will put the NYG into a more "up tempo" mode with alot weighing on Eli's performance. That is how I am looking at it and will be betting it. Eli, first time Superbowler, will not fare to well. SO ITS NE for me.
If I am wrong, I am wrong, but at least that is my concrete position on this matter.

Couldnt agree more bro....Tom Brady and the Pats feel right at home in the Super Bowl as they have been there and done that. Billicheck with 2 weeks to prepare for the biggest game ever to put an exclamation point on the best team in NFL history. He will figure out what they did wrong in the previous meeting and fix it and exploit it totally agree that if the Pats get up early and Eli is forced the throw and not run the ball and simply manage the game this will be a blowout as I expect!!!

As we all know the public loves to bet favs so your saying that when the public is betting at such a high clip on the dog for a change that spells even more trouble for the dog than even the fav right Ronnie?

Love the call Pimp & I totally agree on this one. Giants played the last game of the season very agressively & got off to a great start at HOME! I think the "road" winning streak comes to a crashing halt, I see the Pats winning 48-14! JMO
