Not that that's a huge deal, but I really think with him and Thomas in the linep they make that team a lot faster. Thomas and Colvin matched up against Gates last time, and now Thomas should be locked in on him most of the time. That leaves Vrable, Seau, and Bruschi to guard against SD's screens, they are all slow, and overrated. Teams have figured out how to score against that D.
Buddy, We may have lost Colvin but what you failed to see or mention is that in the 1st game New England was without Richard Seymour and Rodney Harrison. They WILL be there this weekend and Harrison may take Gates. How does S.D. deal with those 2 guys. Maybe that is the real question.

This isn't the same Chargers team the Pats saw in week 2. They had a new coach and were trying to find their identity. With that said, the Chargers still have a tall task in front of them.

I'll give SD credit but Indy really blew that game. 3 turnovers in the red zone hurt big time. They easily could have been up 14-0 if not for Harrison's fumble. Huge momentum swing. Indy Defense looked absolutley horrible rushing 3 DL. Should have just pressured Rivers and he woulda choked like the lil bitch he is. Cant wait for the pats to destroy them.

Don't forget about the pick 6 the refs took away and a couple phantom PI calls.

good point. also, the Chargers were starting Malcome Floyd at 2nd wr spot, and Antonio Cromartie was not even starting, or playing for that matter. Moss had 90+ yards and 2 td's. Drayton Florence was getting burned by Moss all game. He was their NO 1 corner at the time. Now he's their nickle back. Honestly, I think that game should be thrown out the window because their a completly diffrenet team now.

San Diego also played in perfect conditions in Indy yesterday. Sunday's expected temps are a High of 10 degrees with wind chill near zero. If you don't think that will affect S.D. a hell of alot more than N.E. you're crazy!

think brady's bad games have come in cold windy conditions this year. If that's the case I like the team that can run the ball more.

I agree that the week two game shouldn't be used as a comparison. But with the cross country travel along with getting healthy how do they game plan the Patriots other then on paper. I think the home field advantage started with playing Saturday and getting to watch Chargers play a day later. Even with equal talent the Pat's have a huge edge!

I think this game will be won or LOST by the San Diego offensive line. If Rivers or Volek have time to throw and Ladainian & co have a little bit of wiggle room than San Diego has a decent crack at this Patriot machine because SD is so damn athletic on Defense. But SD must hit Brady legally in the mouth to rattle him and DOUBLE MOSS at ALL times with Cromartie and a Safety on top of him.

Brady was 26-28 last game and he had 1 pass to Moss. Maybe it's time for people to worry a little more about Welker, Stallworth, Gaffney and Watson!

Sd has gicen up the least points in the last 7 or 8 games. Their front seven is healthy again and will put a bit of pressure on Brady. I do hope it is raining and snow showers too. I think that will give SD more of a advantage.

they have a good oline, but I don't think Moss will have to be doubled all the time. Cromartie is one of the best and most athletic players in the NFL, I think he can cover him straight up. He is fast and big. By the way, the last time the Pats played in bad weather (cold and windy) here's his stats: Tom Brady 14/27 140 0 td 1 INT WEEK 14 Vs Jets

i love how the WHOLE country was against us this week! Chargers showed up played tough D and beat the colts with our 2nd stringers! Not to mention the Colts gave up the fewest amount of points in the NFL!!!

Now with that being said - the whole country is against us again! Look for another upset...
