I wouldve taken the same bet josh...Rivers would be volek's backup if it wasnt for antonio gates.....I was a big phillip rivers guy after college, while he was backing up brees for 2 years....thought he performed well last year...and I think he looks like shit this year, not just decision making but his mechanics have been awful in games with heavy pass rush
