  • Washington Redskins

As posted earlier in the season, my NFL Excel Program picked the SB Matchup to be New England over Washington.

    http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=134186

It's a long road ahead for the Redskins as they must win AT Seattle, AT Dallas, and then, presumably, AT Green Bay in January. But the current odds are tempting:

Wash +1800 to go to SB and +7200 to win, both of which are higher odds than when I first bet them (12-1 and 40-1).

Just food for thought. Also, Colts are +625 to win it all. Not bad.

Skins look tough...I wouldn't want to play them right now.

You are kidding me, right? They very well may lose and, if they do, it won't be because they are 'emotionally drained'. They have more than enough in the tank to compete in TB.

I like the Skins chances a lot to get there at least. I was lucky enough to be at the game yesterday and it was an awesome atmosphere. No one in the NFC is unbeatable and no one has a hotter QB or comes in on a bigger roll than the Skins. Homer call maybe but I really think they look dangerous and Seattle is definitely worried about this matchup. Go Skins!

I hope to God they beat Seattle and then travel to Dallas to play my Cowboys. They will see a different team then they saw yesterday. They don't get past Seattle.....

if holmgren takes his head out of his ass and runs the ball the game is close, coin flip, but if they try to just throw like they have been lately then the redskins corners get a pick and win for sure.........

No I wasn't kidding. I think they expended a lot of energy in trying to be the only team to beat New England. I think it was a stupid thing to do. They could have preserved some of the energy and emotion to make a Superbowl Run. I'll be surprised if they can maintain that level of play for sixty minutes this weekend. I do think they are the better team though.

                        gl,

I know the Redskins will probably not win the SB, but 72-1 at this juncture of the season seems awefully high for the way they are playing under Collins. And 18-1 in a six-team NFC battle for the conference title seems ridiculously high given the way they are playing right now.

I think Holgrem is doing what this team needs to do to win. They do not have a dominant run game. I think the Skins win outright.
