Just flying off the cuff....but can someone tell me the last time a 5 for 1 deal in any sport ended up good for the team that got just the one person?

It's just screaming of H. Walker to me....and again..this is just my right off the top of the head comments.

I couldn't agree with you more. He hasn't done shit since steroids have become an issue. We are glad to see him go here. There is actually only 3 players O's fans want to keep, Roberts, Markakis and Bedard

Deal's pretty much a wash. Orioles could have done better 2 years ago when they should have traded him. Good ol' Angelos hosed them when they had a nice deal for Ervin Santana and Howie Kendrick. O's are doomed until Angelos is gone. He's like Mr. Burns.

Luke Scott is going to be a big-time player if he can stay healthy. They had to upgrade at SS, for offensive purposes. If the end of your lineup is two .230 hitters and a pitcher, you are looking at three potential 3-up, 3-down innings.

Still. who is going to pitch? Roy O cannot go but once every five days. You or I could be the Astros #2, that's how up in the air and unsettled the situation is.

We keep getting rid of farm pitchers and do not restock the pond. The arms race is a disaster for years to come.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

Roy O is being wasted on the Astros. The guy would have many more W's if he played on a better team.

Tejada is the fix for the Astros, its just them adding another older, desent at bat to their club. They will still finish towards the bottom of the NL Central next year, because they have a so-so pitching staff at best
I hope one day they talk about me, and say I knew him when he was just a kid.

                          110-92 all time picking.

o's are doomed until they get out of the AL east and/or the yankees go broke at the same time the red sox stop playing baseball.
