I was at the Wisconsin and UNLV game and the lights went out with about 6 minutes left in the game. Vegas rules is game needs to be within 5 min of end of game for bets to count.
A Lot of pissed off Badger fans at the ticket window.
Worst beat of all time was Buffalo was playing NE and NE was a 3 1/2 favorite and I was on Buffalo big. Buffalo's up 4 points with one last play by NE. NE scores a TD on a questionable call.
NO PROBLEM, kick extra point and I win by the hook. The idiot of all time Wade Phillips (head coach of Buffalo) pulls the team off the field as NE is ready to snap the extra point. BUffalo leaves and is walking into the tunnel as NE calls TO. NE comes out and hikes the ball to kicker who walks across goal line for a 1/2 point cover for NE
Out in Vegas, and need Ravens to close out a 10 team, what the hell, parlay. Vinnie Testevarde has 1st and goal from the 1 and they don't punch it in on 4 plays. Last play was PI in end zone, 1/2 the distance penalty, moved the ball like a foot. 4 more plays, all stuffed.
Can't remember the teams, but I had the over in the baseball playoff game (I think). Walk off grand slam, but didn't round bases. All runs didn't count.
Minny when they played the Lakers for the West Finals 2 games in a row Minny hits a 3 at the buzzer to cover. One of the guys was KG and go figure I lost on both games.
But Ive had a few good ones
3 years ago I had an 8 team parlay going 6 teams had one from Sunday so I had the monday night game
Dallas +2.5 and the Over 39.5
With 2:30 left Dallas was down 20-7 I turn the TV off and went to bed 5 minutes latter I get a call from my buddy saying I am the luckiest fuck alive I assumed he was giving me a hard time cause all day I told him no way Dallas loses this game. And I told him to shut the fuck up hung up on him and went back to bed. Sure enough the next morning I couldnt believe my eyes when I checked the score. I won 2700 dollars with a 21-20 Cowboys win!!!!
Worst one was Humanitarian Bowl 2002 between Iowas State and Boise State. I took ISU + 11 1/2 points. Boise is up 27-16 and IS turns it over on their own 35, less than 1 minute and no time outs. Instead of kneeling, Boise State throws to the endzone 3 times and finally scores. Up by 11, ISU no time outs and Coach Hawkins is running it up. Never forget it
Close second:
Can't remember exact year, but it was soon after college instituted overtime. It was 2 PAC 10 teams and I was getting 12 1/2 points. Game went to OT and the favored team scored a TD in the 1st overtime. First play from scrimmage, the qb throws a pick 6 and I lose by 13 points in OT, catching 12 1/2.
Both instances I took 2 weeks off, but as you can see, I still remember
I Remember that game I was on the winning side for once on a ending like that.
1) Last year the NY Giants (-3 I think) at Tennessee. Giants up 21-0 in the 4th, Tenn comes back to make it 31-14. Tenn has ball with a couple min left and its like 4th and 8. If Giants stop them game over. The Giants defender litterally has Vince Younged wrapped up and he thought he heard a whistle so he stopped...Young runs for 1st and eventually they win in OT.
2) In the 2000 NFL season i think it was balt against tenn. I cant remember the exact scenario but Balt jumped over the pile for a TD and cover. They actually put the points on the board and then they took them off! Ugly!
A couple bad beats in baskets last year. I had a large bet on the under in a pistons game. Detoit is down 3 and the game is going to stay way under until Rasheed Wallace throws up a 50 footer at the buzzer and the game goes int OT and of course goes over. I'm sure you guys remember that one.
Then my largest bet in about 3-4 years on the Spurs in game 4 of the finals. Not the worst beat but it really hurt. The meaning less 3 pointer at the buzzer. ewwwwww bad memories
yeah i knew it was unlv wisconson i wasnt sure of the Line on the game. i didnt bet that game. but i knew it was wisky and i remember reading some where that tons of wisky backers came into vegas days before and pounded many books along with wise guys all betting wisky.....and poof goes the power. when they are way ahead. makes ya wonder dont it??

My Worst Beat Was In The Spring Of 2006 I Had The Texas Rangers +280 Or Higher I Believe Against The Yankees.texas Scores 9 Runs In The First 2 Innings To Take A 9-0 Lead Lead Gets Up To 10-1 And Then All Of The Sudden The Yankees Go Off And Win 14-13 On Jorge's Posada's 2 Run Home Run In The 9th That Was A Killer For Me.not As Bad As Some Of Your Bad Beats Considering The Yankees Can Score Some Runs And Its Never Over Till Its Over.
MLB 2012***100-98 +$215 OR +2.15 UNITS
HUGE PLAYS 2-1
I had the biggest parlay of my life at the time (500 to win about 3500) with two spreads that already won and SAN ANTONIO MONEYLINE at home when they were 11pt favorites...they were up 9 with 33 seconds and yep, that was the night of the TMAC 13pts in 33 secs...he hit a 3 at the buzzer to win by one and i almost broke my hand slaming the desk

I think that was ASU vs. USC in 96. Best game of my life. I was there.
ASU scored first in OT, than the QB for USC threw up a screwed up screen pass, which was picked off by ASU and ran back for 75 yards. We were jumping up and down. Needless to say we were piss drunk.
