I AGREE WAS ABOUT TO SAY THE SAME THING.ALSO HE GIVES 100% EVERY DAMN GAME AND PLAYS HURT NEVER BEEN ON THE DISABLED LIST EVER.COME ON NOW 1 BAD YEAR AND EVERYONE JUMPS OFF THE BANDWAGON.30 HR AND 100 RBI'S IS A GIVEN.ANDRUW WAS AND STILL IS MY FAVORITE PLAYER IN BASEBALL.I CAN REALLY SEE HIM HAVING AN MVP TYPE SEASON BUT HE WILL NEVER GET IT BECAUSE HE NEVER HITS FOR AVG.

LOL you guys crack me up.....Andruw Jones doesnt get paid to hit for average...he gets paid to hit home runs, drive in runs and play defense.....if he became a FA after the 06 season he wouldve had a 7 year deal for about 120 million.

He did get a little bit plumpier over the last offseason and it affected his range a little (speed) and he battled a sore elbow all season which screwed up his timing and power hence the 220 avg and less power....im assuming the elbow should be better and if hes in better shape he will be back with his normal 265 and 35 110 season....3 more years at what he is doing now and he is a 1st ballot HOFer

IT WAS NOT ABOUT AN EXTENSION IT WAS WHEN THE GM TOLD HIM HE WAS NOT GOING TO TRADE HIM AND THEN IN THE PREASEASON ALL HE HEARD ABOUT WAS HOW THEY WERE TRYING TO TRADE HIM.ANDRUW IS GOING TO HAVE A GREAT YEAR JUST WATCH AND SEE.

ANDRUW JONES IS A STUD AND WILL QUICKLY TURN INTO YOUR FAVORITE PLAYER ON THE TEAM.HE WILL HAVE A GREAT YEAR AND YOU WILL NOT IMAGINE HOW MANY RUNS HE IS GOING TO SAVE YOU WITH HIS DEFENSE.THIS IS A GREAT MOVE BY THE DODGERS 18 MILLION IS ALOT BUT HE IS GOING TO BE WORTH IT.WILL NEVER HIT FOR AVG BUT 35 HR AND 100 RBI'S WITH GOLDEN GLOVE DEFENSE IS A GIVEN.
