I follow these teams closely due to their proximity to me. I have this game being close, with a field goal winning the game either way.

Spurrier is an excellent recruiter, and an above average coach. Bowden isn't as strong of a recruiter, but a better overall coach and more disciplined than than Spurrier is. I think patience and discipline (along with the grinding ground game) gives the edge to Clemson. The GSP sports media all agree that the Tigers will be ready to play, despite the tough loss last week.

Your strong opinion iced it for me. I think it stays under the 52 1/2 total Good luck to us

Good Luck with the big play Rook, I like it. Attended my 1st college game at Death Valley 2 weeks ago when they played Wake Forest & I can tell you, I wasn't prepared for it. It was an absolutely awesome experience. We drove 10 1/2 hours to take my daughter down for a college visit as she wants to attend Clemson & twirl for the band that rocks the South! Even during that weekend, it seemed to me that the Clemson fans had this game on their minds, some of them even commented that they've been looking forward to this game since last year, so I don't think their will be a letdown. Anyway, I love your analysis, let's bring it home!

Thanks phinsphan....i've been to my share of college games, but Death Valley is one of the best venues to see a college football game. I hope your daughter had a great time.

And your right.....this season is a 100% success if they beat South Carolina, and even more in the recuruting angle if they keep South Carolina from a bowl game too.

She had a great time Rook. She was on the field as part of Senior day with the band & performed in the East endzone in front of the student section on the "hill". Clemson has replaced PSU as her #1 choice of colleges. GL on Saturday!
