Other than baseball, I rarely post plays unless there is a special reason for the play. Take a look at the Oregon at St. Marys line. It opened at Oregon -5 and is now Oregon -2. Three points is a big move for a single digit line. Makes you think Vegas has too much St. Marys money and is trying to get more Oregon money.
Partly true. The books want more Oregon money but they don't have too much St. Marys money. Just the opposite. At sportsbook.com 75% of the money is on Oregon. W a ger line reports 70% of the plays are on Oregon. I live near and follow St. Marys. They are co-favorites with Gonzaga to win the WCC this year.
They have three Australian players, with International experience. Oregon's tallest player is only 6'9" giving St. Marys a nice height advantage. Here is a little more info on St. Marys.
Four of the team's five starters are boasting double-digit averages, led by center Omar Samhan's 16.3 ppg. The 6-11 big man is converting 61.8 percent of his shots and is getting it done as a rebounder (8.0 rpg) and passer (2.3 apg) as well. Forward Ian O'Leary is also delivering from the floor (57.1 percent), adding 10.7 ppg. Guard Patrick Mills and forward Diamon Simpson round out the double-digit threats with 10.3 and 10.0 ppg, respectively.
I just checked again and the line is still 2. It hasen't gone back up. Now 77% of the money at sportsbook.com is on Oregon. Sure looks like a trap for Oregon bettors, which is what I am hoping it is.
