I look at other teams like the Bulls or Pistons when a team was a team. Yes there were "superstars" on there, but everyone had a role and everyone did their job. This NE team to me is built exactly like those teams.

You are an idiot. It was 2 qtrs into a season that is 2 games longer than Miami's was. If you can't figure out that math than go back to school hater.

they would have won it anyways

N.E. is also well ahead of pace for biggest point margin in NFL History, most points scored in a season, most TD Passes in a season and most TD Receptions in a season. How many records did Miami set on their quest in '72?

Tony, go back and check the box score...unless I read them incorrectly, and that is possible, Manning threw only one TD pass in 2004 when he set the record in the 4th Q and his team up by more than 2 TD's...and that was in one game when they were up 17 with 13 minutes left! If you remember, the Colts defense was horrible, much like the Bills of the early 90's, and had to outscore people. Manning threw 2 TD's in 2004 with his team up by more than 21 and they were both midway through the 3rd Q.

People like to compare wjat Brady is doing to Manning in 2004 and the Bills in the 90's...the difference is those teams had to outscore people. IMO, those comparisons are not accurate.

You are the 1st i've heard to make an argument for the '72 team Neil but then again, you did leave out 3 huge reasons why you are misled and you have proven time and time again that you simply hate the Patriots. I love sports conversations here but the ones done out of spite for a team are idiotic and i don't know why i keep correcting you with yours on New England.

Wow, I've heard dozens and dozens of people say the same thing about Miami. I've also heard dozens and dozens mention the '85 Bears among other teams. I find it hard to belive you haven't heard these opinions considering you're on a sports forum all the time.

I do not hate the Patriots. In fact I like Brady. I think he is one of the game's finest. I have no problem crowning them the champs this year since Indi is banged up. The Patriots may go undefeated. They made show they are mortal. I don't know, none of us do. All the Patriot fans think everybody hates them if they don't agree with their own opinions. That's like the gays saying everybody is "homophobic" if they don't agree with the lifestyle. That's not the case. The fact is we're not riding the Patriot's nuts. We know they are not the best of all-time. Nobody can prove it, so it's all going to come down to opinion. You think apples are better, I think oranges are. Who is right? I guess the reason we have this forum is to discuss it and share opinions. But that doesn't make anybody "idiotic" for not agreeing with someone else.
My rating system is as follows:

                1-10 units on plays typically
20+ on extremely hot picks, goy, etc. (VERY rare)
                ---------------------------------------------------
                LAST SEASON:

                CBB 75-42-4 +142.6 UNITS ($14260) YEAH BABY!!!

                NFL 1-0 +1 UNITS ($100)

                NBA 49-30-4 +93.2 UNITS ($9320)

Absoultely right. I remember when the press aked Manning why he handed the ball off instead of getting his td passes, and he said "I'm plating to win. They expect me to pass, so we run. I don't care about the record, just winning."

That's class. Who else can say that????

Sure, if you want to run it up any great team can kick a dead horse. The thing is other teams have class.

That is simply not true with the Bills 3J. They were talking about them on the radio today and reading off scores from their 4 SB Run seasons and they beat people often 41-7 38-10. They had a great defense except in the SB and it was led by the great Bruce Smith. I have not looked at Mannings stats but i'm willing to bet many of those games they won were by big margins. Jim Kelly on the Tony Bruno radio show just yesterday said hey, we had a offense we used and we played it for 4 qtrs.

Explain the Salary Cap, longer schedule and Free Agency to me. I love valid conversations. If you can explain to me how winning today with those 3 things is easier, i would love to hear it. If you can't, than stop being an idiot and add them to your reasoning because at that point, your reasoning would be ignorant and useless. I'll be waiting for your educated explanation how those don't matter in today's game. If you can't make that argument than you should just about it because you are looking foolish.

Adults have different opinions. If you don't realize that maybe you need to go back to kindegarten.

I listen to Sports radio stations all day at work and probably hear about 20 different interviews lately. I also never miss much on t.v.

I'm pretty up on my sports and i have no interest in making shit up.

No, i hate people that talk out of their ass and have no idea what they are talking about. Free Agency, the salary cap and a longer schedule were never mentioned in your love fest for the Dolphins. Why is that or did you just not know the facts. If you are willing to talk the talk, than back it up and give some explanations.
