I am a Dolphin fan and just for that fact I want to see New England lose at least 1 game this year.

In all reality, they are the best team in the league by far. If they go undefeated, camera scam or not, they deserve it. Even though they used that camera, they still had to figure out the signals within a half and work out a way to audible against them. To me they will have earned it every step of the way.

What I do not want to see is Belichick playing his starters for the entire game if they are 14-0 and have already locked up homefield advantage. I know they want the record, but that shows that you have a lack of respect for your players and you only care about a record.

I figured an asterisk thread needed some asterisks.

If they do go undefeated, which I don't think they will, there should be an asterisk, all right.

It should appear next to the record of the 1973 Dolphins, and should read:

              Miami Dolphins, 14-0*, 1973

Note: (*) indicates NFL season was 14 games long instead of the much tougher 16.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

If my memory is correct in 1972 Miami played teams with over a 500 record no more than 3 or 4 games as the division they were in was pretty lame
