          Good for Torre.
          If management can negotiate with money greedy agents for so-so players who make a lot more than Torre, let them argue with Torre or his agent also.
          I wouldn't take less than what he is getting now either;2 million for Steinbrenner is obviously peanuts.
          ps I hate to say it but folks like Lugo, Matsuzaka and especially JD Drew are a lot more overpaid on an absolute and relative value than is Torre.
