Smart move by the Yankees. Torre is probably one of the best things they have going right now. I'd say Cashman should be held accountable. Giambi is the highest paid player in baseball and had a few pinch hit at bats in the playoffs. Let me GM, Clemens gone, Pettite gone, Posada gone, when possible Pavano, Mussina, gone gone, Resign Rivera, sign A Rod with Texas money included, Sign Andruw Jones for $20 mil per year, and Johan Santana for $30 Mil per year
