KJ, its my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. If someone starts a thread, opinions will follow. With the BCS being what it is, yes they are # 1. Do they deserve it? That is up for debate.
This is why we love college football, we all have our conference affilitations, and mine is not with the SLOW 10
I think Vegas should set the rankings, based upon each team playing the other on a neutral field. That to me, would be a true measure of the teams
And I appreciate opinions and this forum...was only asking why you thought the way you did...the system is flawed and will be flawed until there is a true playoff at the end...only then can we determine who really is the best team...all my opinion of course...keep the thoughts coming...hell, it is fun to disagree and discuss rather than pout and shout! Good luck!
exactly, you are correct. they were a fraud, and frauds get exposed. The Ohio st will soon be exposed as well.
Are they better than louisville, absolutely, are they the best team in the nation. hell no, they werent last year either
Ohio st won't be exposed because they don't play anyone good (except Ill) and like always they play 5 away games and 7 home games...I agree they are a fraud but I hope we don't find out at national championship time like last year.

It may take the national championship to expose them again. I hope it does, then maybe they will change this shitty system.
Kentucky FYI has 8 home games and only 4 road games this year. That is shit, IMO
KY got Louisville, LSU, Fla, Ga, Tennessee all at home.
We may be overlooking the other USC...the Gamecocks
They have a tough schedule left, but I really think that they could sneak in there. They have TN, Fla, Clemson, Arkansas, and Vandy left. If they run the tables, their only loss would have been to LSU on the road.
Sorry Rook, I know how the thought of this kills you, but it could happen

I seriously want to take forks and jab them in my eyes after reading this.

You and i are no longer friends.
A more likely scenario would be a BCS #2 ranking on November 23rd for the Gamecocks. Clemson marches into Williams-Brice Stadium on November 24 and delivers a knockout blow to USC's championsip hopes. USF and Oklahoma now are in the BCS Championship game
You can say all that you want about OSU. They do win the games they are supposed to. Unlike USC(Stanford) LSU(UK) and the list goes on. I understand that they have not played anyone yet. Everyone gives the big ten a hard time. It is a tough conference physically. By the way for the record the BIG TEN was 2-1 VS. SEC last year in bowl games. Call it what you want. I believe the problem is the system. Every one in the top 16 would have a chance if it was up to me. Line them up and play it out in a playoff.
